Secondary evidence of the contents of a document cannot be given when-

• A. Where the original is in the possession or power of the person against whom the document is to be proved
• B. When the party proposing to give evidence of its contents cannot, for any reasonable reason, produce it in a reasonable time
• C. Whereas the original is a private document and is in the possession of the party seeking to certify its contents
• D. neither of the above
