In every case of an offense punishable with both imprisonment and fine, in the case of default in the payment of the fine, be punished with such imprisonment:

• A. which shall not exceed the maximum imprisonment prescribed for that offense
• B. that imprisonment may be of any kind
• C. The imprisonment shall be of such a kind as could have been punished by the offender for that offence.
• D. He may be directed to be punished with imprisonment, which may be a cow provided for the offence.
