'A' is a debtor of 'B'. 'B' transfers the loan to 'C'. Then 'B' asks 'A' to repay the loan. 'A' has not received notice of transfer as prescribed in section 131 of the Transfer of Property Act and makes payment to 'B'. This payment will be-
